In every economic report we can see that GDP is the main index governments and economist use to measure the state of a country, for them growth is essential and GDP is the way of detecting if its happening or not.
But there are other important things that are not taken into consideration, like health or education (HDI), or equity (GINI). In this graphic I joined all these indexes. What can be clearly seen is that no matter how wealthy you are, after a certain level of income, you don’t get any better life and you don’t ensure equity in your community.
